art works in 2011

This year I learn a lot thing in the school, but there is one of the classes for me is very reazing and a lot fun with. This is art class. I am very happy in the art class because I don’t need to worry about the class work. I just do what I want to do to finish the art work for the teacher. In all the art I finish in this year, the most I feel great at that and had a lot fun they are monochromatic planting, mosaic, and the book make. They are the most fun and a lot work for that.
First, monochromatic planting, is to use one color to make a different between that colors. The color I use with is tea green. I use that color to make dark and light than make a pretty art work. Second, mosaic is using small paper to make a art work. I use different colors to show the art to then people know where look like is. That is took me a long time to finished because all the small pize people need to be together and be a art show. Third, book make that also is a hard work to make because all the paper need to be sew together than I need to make outside clobber and inside thing. I made the fashion thing to put inside my book.
The similarities to the art are that all took me a long time to finish. That is not easy to make, but I had a lot fun with. Also, I need to think about what the art is going to look like for those. All about lots pretty colors make the art to show I thought in my heart. Those arts are all make lots paper, so you can call paper art works oh!
The differences about the art are one is planting and another tow are the paper making. Planting is use only one color to make different between that colors. Than two are is making paper also very different from each other for example, one is using the small paper to make out and other is idea to know what you know to put inside the art work. Therefore, they are different art I been doing in this year.
I am very happy to know the different kind the art work to show what your mind think and feel. That is very fun and hard work to build out to myself. I very enjoy by myself, when I’m doing those art work. Also, is very cool thing to know I can doing the art that great because I always think I am a very bad at art or draw. However, now I know I am not bad I can do as well as other too. Here I am feeling is very thankful for my art teacher been working a lot with me to than me love art in my life. This is very cool and lot fun to start my life now!!

safety strategies

When you turn on the TV watching the news, or you are reading the newspaper, you always will see that girls are get hurt or who get kill by someone. Here we have a lot people get kill and hart everyday and every minute. What can you do for that? What will happen if you don’t know the safety for yourself? Why is safety so important? We all need to know that to live on everywhere you go.
First, I’m going to teach you about all the safety in the life. You need to find a small group, to brainstorm several unsafe situations in your life. Such as you need to know where are you going because you can know is the places are safety or not. If you are girl, you always need to remember boys are very dangerous person in the world. For example, in the long time ago I heard a story is about one girl she was with her friend gone to a party with her best friend in the school. They had drunk a lot. She didn’t know what did her doing that time. Then she end out she died in next morning because one of her friend’s friends sex with her and he get nervous and he just killed her. Ever in the night time you run out the gas, you need to with another people with you because it was a Chinese girl got killed by gas station too. Be careful wherever you are going.
Second, here is always the best thing to get someone with you to go everywhere you go. Two is good than just one because you are in dangerous he or she can runs to get another people help. If you don’t have someone to go with you, you need to be more careful. Such as you are in the shopping area or you are go somewhere out by yourself, you need to go home before sun go down. Here are always bad things happen in the night time. People you need to carry the whistle with you all the time because when you are in the dangers you can use whistle to get another help.
Third, safety is very important for everyone in their life. For example, without safety you can see lots people get kill all the time. You have lots safety thing to be safe, such as personal safety for when you by yourself or your friends. You will hear your friends what happened to her get hurt. You can help her out from telling her teacher, parents, and the doctor for help. Maybe inside her heart get sad too. Therefore, when you get hart or in the dangers you always need to speak out for another people help.
In the summer, I am going to do a lot exercises to make myself feel better and more fun. Such as I will run around the park or play different ball with friends. That will be a lot fun to make my body to get some work in the summer.

“What is that in the air?” Cristina asks by herself. She is a very smart and adventurous girl. She loves to go out to find the interesting things to do in her life. One day, on her way home from school, she saw a black thing in the air. She was very confused about what she saw in the air, she then arrived at home and search on the internet. She suggested that maybe it was soot, smoke, or smog because it was all related to air pollution. The black thing she saw in the air was maybe coming from a factory or other things on the streets. She didn’t know the air was so bad. On the next day of school, she goes to her science teacher, because she wants to know more about the air pollution. Her science teacher name is Ms. Chan, a very tall, thin, beautiful woman, and she knows a lot of different science. Cristina loves her very much. Every day she wills goes to her class and have lunch with her. It is lunch time now, and Cristina asked Ms. Chan about air pollution. She is very happy about Cristina asking the question. She says, “Smoke from the burning fuel makes the air dirty.” Cristina yelled “dirty air”! Ms. Chan replied,” Yes, dirty air makes you get sick easier.”Cristiana was getting worry. Ms, Chan continues to says,” The pollution in the air traps heat and makes the planet heat up,” “this is called global warming”. Ice is melting at both the North and South Poles, and that will make a lot people and animals lose their homes. Cristina is feeling really sad. She just doesn’t know what to do to help the world get better. Ms. Chan knows how Cristina feels and came up with a solution, “we can cause less pollution by using less electricity by turning the off lights when we don’t need them, and we should not use cars very often because the gas that runs your car also causes pollution. Cristina began to understand about air pollution after she talked with Ms, Chan. She went home and talks to her family about what she learns today at school. She is very happy because she found a very fun thing to talk with her family. She told them every thing Ms, Chan told her, so her family all decide to save the world. They are going to do a lot nice thing to make that happen, for example, they are going to grow more trees in the back yard, take bus to school, or go to work, and they are going to recycle in the house. They’re all hoping the world can get better so people and animals can live longer. One family talk to another family and another family talk to another and so more and more people begin to help the earth and love green to make the world to have a better life to live on the future. Cristina says to everyone green is her favored color too because the plants, trees, recycling, and money is green. She says everybody should love green and make the world become a better place for us to live on. Go!! love green…

was the gilded age good for amweican?

The Gilded Age brought about a lot new inventions. However, the treatment of workers, Indians (Native Americans), and unfair business practices that came with it was not good. Therefore, the Gilded Age was very bad for America. First, the Gilded Age treatment of workers was very bad. For example, the workers needed to work all day long and they didn’t have any free downtime to do their own things. Also, the children needed to work too. They were very young, like seven to ten years old, but they all needed to work with big machines. Therefore, all the workers only got paid a little money because all the business people could do whatever they wanted to do. Second, the Gilded Age treatment of Indians was very horrible. Such as Indians did not have good places to live at. They could only live at places in the desert. The desert is a very hot and dry place and does not get a lot rain. Therefore the Indians could not go out to hunt for animals to eat or to keep as pets. Also, the Massacre of Wounded Knee killed a lot of Native Americans. The White settlers killed the Native Americans because they wanted to have their land. Then the Assimilation happened, so Native Americans could not practice their traditional beliefs and languages. Basically, the settlers wanted them to “act white”. Therefore, the Indians did not have any freedom, and always needed to follow the white man. Third, the Gilded Age unfair business practices made a lot money for the business through bad business practices like exploiting the people. For example, many companies decided to work together in an arrangement called trust, and the trusts set higher prices. Then people could not afford to buy the food they needed. Most of the food was bad for our body because it was all the fried food. Robber Barons who is one of the richest people in the U.S. History, said that if people were rich then it meant that they were good, but if people were poor it meant that they were bad. A lot of businesses went out of business because him, and then he became very unpopular with a lot people. Finally, the Gilded Age was very bad for America because of all the bad treatment of the workers, the Indians, and the unfair business practices that happened in America.

“What kind of a person are you”, I heard them say to me. I’m a person who it not from China, Africa, and Mexico. But I am a Chinese person. I am from Taiwan. I love Taiwan buses, stories, food. Not the ugly air, not the busy people. I’m a person who lives America. I’m a hard worker student in school. Not a person who are driver, teacher, business. But I’m a worker. I work at beautiful, lovely place in China town. Name calls “Café La Tea”. There have food, drink, and ice cream. I’m a dog. Can run, play balls, eat food, sleep. Run on the green piece cake. Play with lollipop balls with friends. Eat different kind food in the world. Sleep on the a marshmallow bed Dream I’m a dog. I’m a girl like fashion all the time. Hair, clothing, music, make up for all for me. If I don’t have them seen I am dying. Love doing hair for myself every day. Creasy about how I look, like to dress different style. 9th Grade Reflection Before I moved to International High School I was studying in HCC for learning English. My parents decided for me to come here because they think it is a best school for me to get ready for college work. For example, the teacher can spend more time for teaching me and I can know the objects before I go to college. My sister Cindy She has been studying when beginning last year. I just came at almost end the semester. Therefore, I have very hart time to study in school because I never study before, so everything in school things all new for me. I like all the classes I had in school, but sometime because the English make me did not like the school work. I need to spend a lot time to finish homework at school. I have to look out every English works on the paper dictionary. That why every night I didn’t sleep well. However, I very like my school because in school I have a lot friends form different counties on the world. I like to meet people everywhere I go such as to talk with them, and to know the lots fun culture from them. My best friend in school is a girl from Vietnam. Her name is Thuy. She is a hart working person in school. She knows the best thing to do in her future is to study a lot and get education. She spends a lot time to study in school. She is a very nice person. For example, she thought me class work in the class we had same, we were hanging out to talk fun thing, and we always help each other in school. I learn a lot thing form her such as the life over Vietnam and the way she does in the school work. That is always very fun to meet people in different part of world.
